Chargeable Weight
FedEx calculates international shipping weight per piece based on the greater of actual or volumetric weight – the last major courier to adopt this standard.
Volumetric weight (kg) = Length (cm) × Width (cm) × Height (cm) / 5,000. For multi-piece shipments, the total chargeable weight is the sum of each piece’s weight.
