China Customs Pallet Declaration July 2025

For all goods packaged with pallets, the pallet information must be clearly indicated on the customs declaration form.

The specific declaration requirements are as follows:

Plastic Pallets: Should be declared as “Other Packaging.”

Composite Board Pallets: Should be declared as “Recycled Wood Pallet.”

Solid Wood Pallets: Should be declared as “Natural Wood Pallet.”

Special Note:

Solid wood pallets must bear a valid IPPC mark, and the declaration form must specify in the remarks section whether the pallet is “With IPPC Mark” or “Without IPPC Mark.”

Important Reminder: Goods not declared in compliance with the pallet regulations may be seized and disposed of by Customs. All businesses are urged to make truthful declarations!

All Solid Wood Packaging (including dunnage) must undergo quarantine treatment and bear the IPPC mark!
